Organisational Review – Functional redesign

We recently completed a major organisational review for a government agency aimed at driving improvements in role clarity and accountability within and across two functional teams.

The catalyst for the review centred around:

  • Current confusion across the two teams on role responsibilities
  • Feedback received through various Exit interviews
  • Increased turnover
  • Culture / relationship dynamics

The review led to:

  • Clear accountability and responsibilities of roles (removing duplication)
  • New unit structure for the two functions
  • Alignment of functions within team to foster improved synergies
  • Sufficient and appropriate resources to deliver the core functions
