Organisational Review – Functional redesign
We recently completed a major organisational review for a government agency aimed at driving improvements in role clarity and accountability within and across two functional teams.
The catalyst for the review centred around:
- Current confusion across the two teams on role responsibilities
- Feedback received through various Exit interviews
- Increased turnover
- Culture / relationship dynamics
The review led to:
- Clear accountability and responsibilities of roles (removing duplication)
- New unit structure for the two functions
- Alignment of functions within team to foster improved synergies
- Sufficient and appropriate resources to deliver the core functions
- Greater job fulfilment and engagement
