Emerging Leaders Program


Overview: The Emerging Leaders Program is about achieving behavioural change and building the necessary skills for the effective leadership of teams.  The program will help participants improve their communication skills, set the right expectations and develop personal management and collaborative skills and understanding of how to drive performance through effective employee engagement, teamwork and collaboration.

The learnings from the program ensures working environments of trust are created through effective management and leadership. The training program is designed for those who work in middle management positions with people management responsibilities, to help them improve their everyday performance and the performance of those that they manage.

  • Apply critical communication skills of listening, asking questions and being aware of nonverbal messages and the impact this has on building highly engaged teams
  • Properly manage and set expectations of their team
  • Apply various techniques on building high performing teams
  • Understand their leadership style and how leadership styles impact working relationships
  • Effectively give and receive feedback
  • Confidently have under-performance conversations
  • Apply coaching skills for managing individual and team performance
  • Effectively manage staff through organisational  change
